In an official statement, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer at Force Headquarters, Abuja, highlighted that this move is aimed at bolstering community engagement and communication within the police force.

The newly assigned officers bear the responsibility of nurturing positive relationships between the Nigeria Police Force and the communities they are designated to serve.

The officers and their respective roles are as follows: SP Ayuba Tunni Umma, assigned to PPRO Zone 2, Lagos; SP Hauwa Idris Adamu, designated to PPRO Nigeria Police Cooperative; DSP Ejire Adetoun Adeyemi, posted to PPRO Kwara State; ASP Unah Paul Echefunachi, appointed to PPRO Ebonyi; ASP Rufa’i Ahmed, assigned to PPRO Sokoto; and ASP Musa Mohammed, deployed to PPRO Bayelsa.

Additionally, ASP Abuka Pius has been reassigned as a Staff Officer to the Public Complaint Bureau of the Force Public Relations Department, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

The Inspector General of Police underscores the significance of community collaboration in effective policing, urging the recently deployed officers to collaborate closely with the communities under their jurisdiction.

The IGP has charged them with the task of embedding the policing ideals and community-oriented initiatives advocated by the respective heads of their commands and formations.
