‎Nollywood actress, Omeche Oko, has reflected on the dangers actors face sometimes while filming, and expressed gratitude for surviving the ordeal.

‎Oko, who fell off from a motorcycle during a filming process, recounted the frightening on-set accident that left her hospitalised.

‎The actress shared the video on Instagram on Wednesday, showing moments from the filming process, the aftermath of the accident, and her treatment at a hospital.

‎In the video, Oko was riding on the back of a motorcycle operated by her colleague, Victory Michael, as part of a scene.

‎The shoot took a dangerous turn when Michael collided with a vehicle barrier’s metal pole at the location. The impact slammed Michael’s arm against the structure, causing him to lose control and throwing Oko off the motorcycle onto the ground.

‎Subsequent clips in the video showed a chaotic scene as production crew members and fellow actors rushed to assist Oko, who was crying out in severe pain, after which she was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

‎Later parts of the video showed the actress receiving medical care, including injections and treatment for the physical trauma sustained during the crash.

‎Sharing the video, Oko reflected on the dangers actors sometimes face while filming, and expressed gratitude for surviving the ordeal.

‎“Life is very, very fragile. It could have been a different story, but God said NO. If u see an actor today, give them a hug. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is Thank You, God,” she wrote.

‎The video drew reactions from colleagues and fans, many of whom wished her a speedy recovery.

‎A user identified on Instagram as xO_joannajordan wrote, “My God. What fuels your passion won’t cause you pain. Sending you prayers and love.”

‎Another user, chekwasmichaels, commented, “The struggles behind scenes, I pray for a quick comeback.”

‎Reacting, itz_ubah_rebecca wrote, “So sorry oyine, I pray for quick recovery for you. And may God bless you all, actresses and actors. Omoh, it’s not easy.”

‎Fellow actor babarex0 also reacted, writing, “Thank God oo.”

‎Another actor, onyiialexx, commented, “Oh my baby. Glory be to God.”
