Ozonna Soludo, the son of Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo, has confronted those who are criticizing his musical pursuits, asserting his right to create the kind of music he desires.

Soludo firmly stated that he doesn’t require advice or validation for the artistic choices he makes. Having studied at the Institute of Contemporary Music in London, he argued that artists are meant to offer diverse perspectives.

In a social media post on Tuesday, he expressed, “I don’t know who needs to hear this, but I don’t care about your opinions. It’s often those lacking artistic vision who are most vocal about how I should enhance mine. It’s audacious of you to sit in your room and attempt to advise me on occupying a realm you lack the bravery to enter.”

Soludo emphasized that the essence of being an artist is to present people with a distinct outlook. He emphasized his divergence from the norm and underlined his disinterest in conforming to conventional norms. He concluded by asserting that those who dislike his work are under no obligation to engage with it.
