    Nigerian Navy arrests 27 suspected drug peddlers in Lagos

    According to the Nigerian Navy, 27 suspected drug dealers were taken into custody in Lagos State by members of its Navy ship BEECROFT.

    Its official Facebook page posted a statement confirming this.

    It said that “the Nigerian Navy Ship BEECROFT carried out a concerted raid and dislodged an identified criminal safe haven in Gidan Drama, located at Malu Road, Apapa, on Saturday, April 5, 2025.”

    Three women and twenty-four men, totaling 27 accused drug dealers, were taken into custody during the raid with cannabis sativa, Canadian loud, tramadol, and cough medication containing codeine.

    “As a result, the 27 suspects and exhibits were turned over to National Drug Law Enforcement Agency officials on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, for potential prosecution.”
