The Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has joined millions of Muslim faithful at the sacred plains of Mount Arafat as part of activities for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage.
Governor Sani was seen offering special prayers alongside other pilgrims at the Arafat ground before proceeding to join the Kaduna State contingent participating in this year’s pilgrimage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The governor was accompanied by the Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, and the Special Adviser to the President on Political and Other Matters, Ibrahim Masari.
The gathering at Arafat, regarded as one of the most significant rites of the Hajj exercise, witnessed thousands of pilgrims engaged in prayers, supplications, and spiritual reflection.
Governor Sani prayed for peace, unity, and continued progress for Kaduna State and Nigeria, while also seeking divine acceptance of the sacrifices and prayers offered during the holy pilgrimage.
Muslim faithful across the world observe the Day of Arafat as a moment of deep spiritual devotion and closeness to Allah during the annual Hajj exercise.
Observers have described the presence of prominent Nigerian leaders at the holy site as a reflection of their commitment to faith and national unity.
