Air Peace expands domestic operations, resumes flights to Warri

    Published on

Air Peace, one of Nigeria’s leading carriers, has announced a significant expansion of its domestic flight operations as part of efforts to ease travel during the forthcoming festive season, with increased frequencies on key routes and the resumption of flights to Warri.

The airline said the move is in response to a surge in travel demand from passengers ahead of the end-of-year holidays, noting that additional capacity has been deployed across its local network to enhance convenience, connectivity and overall customer experience.

According to the airline, effective Sunday, December 14, 2025, more seats have been added on several high-demand domestic routes.

These include Lagos and Abuja connections to Owerri, Asaba, Enugu, Port Harcourt, Kano, Benin and Anambra—routes that traditionally witness heavy passenger traffic during the festive period.

Air Peace also disclosed that it has strengthened flight frequencies and connections to northern destinations, providing improved access to cities such as Yola, Maiduguri and Gombe through Lagos and Abuja on selected days.

The airline explained that this measure is aimed at ensuring smoother and more reliable travel for passengers moving across the country during the busy holiday season.

In a development that has been widely welcomed by travellers, the airline announced the return of its Warri operations. Daily return services on the Lagos–Warri route have been reinstated, with frequencies increased to two flights daily, while flights on the Abuja–Warri route are scheduled to resume from December 17, 2025.

Additionally, the airline confirmed that tickets for the reinstated Warri services are already available for purchase.

Air Peace described the capacity expansion as part of its proactive strategy to meet rising passenger demand while sustaining its reputation for reliability and extensive domestic network coverage.

The airline also encouraged passengers to make their bookings early through its official website or accredited travel agents, as demand is expected to remain high throughout the festive period.

The latest announcement further reinforces Air Peace’s position as a major player in Nigeria’s domestic aviation market, particularly during peak travel seasons when efficient connectivity remains critical for passengers nationwide.
