The Lagos State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is contemplating relocating from its current office at the Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Office building in Okota, Lagos, after an attack by a mob on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred amid clashes involving LASTMA officials, a policeman, and a driver, leading to the death of two individuals. Angry youths from Ago Palace in Okota damaged facilities at the LCDA office, including vehicles and FRSC property. FRSC’s Sector Commander, Babatunde Farinloye, expressed concerns over repeated attacks and mentioned the possibility of finding a new office location to avoid such incidents. The Isolo LCDA expressed regret over the property losses and assured measures were being taken to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
