The Governership candidate of Accord Party in the November 11 Kogi election,a former Chief of Naval staff, Vice Admiral Usman Jubril,(rtd) has promised to make security his top priority if elected.

Following the recent court verdict in Kano, the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has expressed its dissatisfaction with the outcome, citing suspicions of injustice and foul play leading up to the judgment.

In a statement, NNPP representatives stated, “We have just come out of the Court, and we heard the verdict. We have already informed our people yesterday that we suspect injustice and some foul play taking place in this Court prior to what has happened.”

The party further conveyed its intention to appeal the decision and reassured its numerous supporters and the people of Kano that they are committed to pursuing this matter further, with the belief that the Appeal Court will provide a more impartial assessment of the case.
