    Subsidy removal: This hardship is too much says Kogi TUC chairman,begs FG for palliatives

    The Kogi state Chairman of the Trade Union Congress,TUC ,Duke Ahmed Tijani has appealed to the Federal government to make the provision of palliatives a matter of urgency because people are going through unbearable hardships following the removal of fuel subsidy.

    Tijani in an interview with our Correspondent on Friday in Lokoja said such palliatives would go a long way to cushion the effect of the petrol subsidy removal.

    “Nigerian workers are facing the worst moment in their lives, and are going to work with empty stomach”.

    He said” Nigerians can no longer bear the hike in transportation and foodstuffs in the country, adding that, workers are loosing their lives and loved ones due to untold hardship they are facing”.
