2Baba Says Nigeria Has Improved Compared to Previous Years

    Published on

Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has declared that the country is better now compared to many years ago.

He made the remarks during an interview on Wazobia TV, where the host pointed out that one of his old songs, “E Be Like Say,” seems to reflect issues that are still present in today’s political scene.

2Baba explained that despite the recurring challenges, Nigeria has made progress over time.

When asked about his involvement in politics, the veteran singer said he had previously supported a campaign in a role that required him to stay neutral.

However, he plans to continue contributing to the country in his own way.

He described his personal efforts to represent Nigeria positively, saying he considers himself an ambassador for the nation in different places.

He said: “We are better off than many years ago. Just look at it. It’s still ongoing, but I will continue doing it. I will set up my own position and try to make a difference. I’ll try to make it work because I know where I stand. I have personally appointed myself as an ambassador of Nigeria an ambassador everywhere, I am a self-appointed ambassador of Nigeria to everywhere.”
