‎The National Orientation Agency, NOA, has commiserated with the Nigerian Air Force, NAF and families of personnel killed in the aircraft crash in Igbokoda, Ondo State.

    ‎

‎The Agency said it would intensify efforts to ensure proper observance of the national flag in line with President Bola Tinubu’s declaration of three days of national mourning and directive for flags to fly at half-mast.

    ‎

‎Director-General of NOA, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, described the deaths as a painful moment for the nation, noting the personnel served with courage, discipline and patriotism.

    ‎

‎Issa-Onilu said their sacrifices would not be forgotten, stressing their dedication to protecting Nigeria remains worthy of honour.

    ‎

‎He said the Agency would use the mourning period to promote proper observance of the national flag as a symbol of sovereignty, unity and shared identity.

    ‎

‎The DG urged Nigerians to observe the period with dignity, reflect on sacrifices of the Armed Forces and uphold patriotism and respect for national symbols.

    ‎

‎He also commiserated with the Chief of the Air Staff and officers and men of the Air Force, assuring them of NOA’s solidarity.

    ‎

‎Issa-Onilu extended condolences to families of the deceased and the entire NAF, praying God grants them strength and comfort as well as peaceful repose of the souls of the departed.

    ‎

‎He reaffirmed NOA’s commitment to promoting national values, civic responsibility and respect for national symbols.
