Mavin Records, the Nigerian music powerhouse founded by Don Jazzy has marked its 13th anniversary—celebrating over a decade of redefining Afrobeats and elevating African music on the global stage. Since its launch in 2012, Mavin has discovered and nurtured some of the biggest names in music, including Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Reekado Banks, and Korede Bello.
Today, the label’s star-studded roster features Rema, Ayra Starr, Johnny Drille, Ladipoe, Crayon, Bayanni, Boy Spyce, and Lifesize Teddy who have collectively amassed over 40 billion global streams.

Reflecting on the journey, Don Jazzy expressed gratitude to fans, collaborators, and the Mavin team, calling the label’s evolution a collective mission to build a lasting legacy for Nigeria, Africa, and the world. COO Tega Oghenejobo echoed the sentiment, noting the team’s pride and its relentless push to break new talents and expand globally.

As Mavin turns 13, its influence in the music industry remains unmatched—built on innovation, talent development, and a commitment to global reach.
