The South South Zonal Coordinator of the National Institute for Sports (NIS), Dr Rasheed Oyakhire, alongside members of the South South Zonal Office staff, are currently participating in the ongoing IOC/NOC Medical Commission Seminar holding in Benin City, Edo State.
The seminar, organised to enhance knowledge and capacity in sports medicine, athlete health management, and modern medical practices in sports, brought together stakeholders from various sectors of the sports industry.
The programme serves as a platform for the exchange of ideas, professional development, and the promotion of best practices in sports healthcare.
Speaking on the significance of the seminar, Oyakhire emphasised the importance of continuous learning and collaboration in advancing sports development in Nigeria.
