Founder of Global Initiative for Women in Leadership, GIFWIL, ​Lady Sarah Umahi has congratulated the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr Kingsley Udeh (SAN), on his nomination for an Award of Excellence on his outstanding commitment to national development.

 
Dr Umahi in a congratulatory message to the minister, titled ‘Letter of congratulations and Notification of Award of Excellence, on behalf of the Board of Directors of GIFWIL, noted that Udeh’s passion for youth empowerment, drive for innovation-led growth, and dedication to leveraging science and technology as catalysts for national transformation, which she said had not gone unnoticed. “You have continued to demonstrate exemplary leadership, vision and service in advancing Nigeria’s innovation ecosystem and empowering the next generation of leaders and innovators.” Umahi said.

​she added that “in recognition of your sterling leadership qualities, impactful service to the nation, and your remarkable contribution to youth and innovation development, the Board of GIFWIL has unanimously found you worthy as a recipient of our highly esteemed:
​Award of Excellence for Youth Empowerment & Innovation Development.”

The GIFWIL founder added that the award celebrates leaders who are intentionally building a future for Nigerian youths through innovation, creativity and sustainable development, a cause she said the minister embodies with distinction.

​Umahi further announced that the award would be officially presenting to Udeh in his office by members of the Board of Directors of GIFWIL after his approval.
