Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, aka DJ Cuppy, who turned 33 recently has reflected on her journey and personal growth with introspection, saying she is choosing intention over noise.

The billionaire daughter said her past birthday celebrations were good but ever since turning 30, her heart and soul have been craving substance over flash.

“For years my birthdays were loud. Both popping, crowded rooms, strangers everywhere, celebrations that looked lit but never felt right. Since turning 30, my heart and soul has been craving something deeper” she wrote.

“As I step into this new age, I ‘m choosing intention over noise and choosing a life that feels aligned with who I ’m becoming.”

This year, she celebrated her birthday quietly at a butterfly zoo, acknowledging that she has changed for the better

“So random right? Completely unplanned, just something I spotted on Google Maps during a birthday drive, and it turned out to be the most beautiful experience.

“It made me pause and realise how much I ‘ve grown and how God has been shaping me. Honestly, I have really changed.”
