A frontline governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in Taraba State, Hon. Danjuma Shiddi, has congratulated Muslims in Taraba and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, urging citizens to embrace unity, peace, and sacrifice for national development.
In a Sallah message released on Wednesday, Shiddi described Eid-el-Kabir as a significant period that reflects the virtues of faith, obedience, sacrifice, and compassion exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
The APGA governorship hopeful called on Muslims and residents of Taraba State to use the festive period to pray for lasting peace, unity, and progress in the state and the country at large.
He said the celebration also provides an opportunity for Nigerians to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, promote peaceful coexistence, and extend support to the less privileged in society.
Shiddi further urged citizens to continue supporting leaders at all levels in efforts aimed at addressing societal challenges and advancing development.
“On my part, I remain committed to representing your interests and working for policies that promote prosperity, security, and social welfare for every Taraban,” he stated.
He prayed for Allah’s acceptance of the sacrifices and prayers of the Muslim faithful, while wishing Nigerians many more Eid celebrations in good health, peace, and prosperity.
