Ogun State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in 2027 elections, Senator Solomon Adeola has urged Muslim faithful to use the Eid-el-Kabir celebration to pray for peace and the consolidation of gains recorded under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Adeola, who represents Ogun West Senatorial District and chairs the Senate Committee on Appropriations, made the call in his Eid message to Nigerian Muslims.
In the message signed by his media advisor, Kayode Odunaro, the governorship candidate said Muslims in Ogun West and across Nigeria should reflect on the values of sacrifice, love, brotherliness, piety and peaceful coexistence.
He noted that strict adherence to Islamic teachings will help Nigeria consolidate the “observable gains” of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to him, the administration is addressing systemic challenges inherited by President Tinubu three years ago.
“As the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu prepares to mark its three years in office with acclaimed positive indicators of escaping total collapse of the economy and achievements in socio-economic gains, the nation needs security, peace, understanding and sacrifices,” Adeola stated.
He added that these virtues are needed to consolidate progress and deepen ongoing reformist development initiatives of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Senator wished Muslim faithful at home and those performing Hajj in the Holy Land a joyous celebration.
Adeola reaffirmed his commitment to effective representation for constituents in Ogun West and beyond, saying they would continue to enjoy dividends of democracy through the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The lawmaker cited facilitated programmes in education, roads, boreholes, transformers and other constituency empowerment projects, explaining that the initiatives were designed to complement efforts of government at all levels.
Adeola stressed that continued peace and unity remain critical to sustaining development across Ogun West and Nigeria.
He called on Nigerians to support policies that promote stability, growth and inclusive prosperity.
