    Corruption: ICPC set to prosecute multiple cases in FCT, six states

    ‎The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has released the schedule of corruption cases slated for hearing in courts across the country between July 13 and 17, 2026.

    ‎The cases, spread across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and six states, involve different stages of criminal proceedings, including arraignments, continuation of trials, hearings, adoption of final addresses, and judgment.

    ‎The weekly cause list, released by the anti-graft agency on Sunday on its verified X handle, indicates that proceedings will commence on Monday with one matter before the FCT High Court, Gwagwalada, while several other cases are fixed for hearing on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in courts across the country.

    ‎According to the commission, the cases include, “FRN v. Edwin Oyuwe – FCT High Court, Gwagwalada, CT 53 – Continuation of Trial – 13th Jul., 2026. FRN v. Yusuf Abubakar Mustapha – FCT High Court, Maitama, CT 22 – Continuation of Trial – 14th Jul., 2026. FRN v. Solomon Ale – Ondo State High Court, Akure – Arraignment – 14th Jul., 2026.

    ‎“FRN v. Tunde Orenuga & Anor – Nasarawa State High Court, Lafia, CT 2 – Adoption of Final Addresses – 14th Jul., 2026, FRN v. Vitalis Mbeyi – FCT High Court, Apo, CT 28 – Continuation of Trial – 14th Jul., 2026, FRN v. Sani Lawal – Katsina State High Court, Katsina, CT 3 – Arraignment – 14th Jul., 2026, FRN v. Esther Olufunmilayo Moses – FCT High Court, Maitama, CT 13 – Continuation of Trial – 14th Jul., 2026.

    ‎The weekly schedule highlights the commission’s continued prosecution of corruption-related cases in courts across the federation.

    ‎The publication of the cause list also provides members of the public, litigants and other stakeholders with advance notice of proceedings, reflecting the commission’s commitment to transparency in the prosecution of corruption cases.
