    40-year-old man arraigned for allegedly breaking into woman’s shop

    ‎A 40-year-old man, Rafiu Olalekan, was on Tuesday arraigned before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court Ibadan, Oyo State, for alleged conspiracy, shop breaking and stealing in a woman’s shop.

    ‎

    ‎Olalekan, however, pleaded not guilty three three-count charge.

    ‎

    ‎The Prosecutor, Inspector Samuel Owolabi, said that the defendant committed the offences on October 2, at Elewure area of Ibadan, in the midnight.

    ‎

    ‎He alleged that the defendant and others at large broke into the shop of the complainant, Tomilola Asaolu and stole game equipment worth over N5 million.

    ‎

    ‎He said the offences contravene Sections 516, 413 and 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.

    ‎

    ‎The Magistrate, Gladys Olanrewaju, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N2 million with two sureties in like sum.

    ‎

    ‎She adjourned the case until November 4, for hearing.
