The Executive Chairman of Jaba Local Government Area in Kaduna State, Hon. Larai Sylvia Ishaku, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful in Jaba LGA, Kaduna State, and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid al-Adha celebration.
In a goodwill message released to commemorate the sacred Islamic festival, Hon. Ishaku prayed that the celebration would renew the faith of Muslims, deepen their devotion to Allah, and strengthen the spirit of sacrifice, compassion, and unity which Eid al-Adha represents.
She urged Muslims to reflect on the lessons of obedience, generosity, and selflessness associated with the festival, stressing the need for peaceful coexistence and support for one another within communities and beyond.
According to the Chairman, Eid al-Adha serves as a reminder of the values of gratitude, humanity, and devotion to God, adding that these virtues are essential for sustaining peace and progress in society.
Hon. Ishaku also prayed for Allah’s mercy, blessings, protection, and acceptance of the prayers and sacrifices offered during the celebration.
She further wished the people of Jaba Local Government and Nigerians at large good health, prosperity, and continued development, while encouraging citizens to celebrate responsibly and uphold the true meaning of the occasion even after the festivities.
“May your homes overflow with joy, and may the values of Eid continue to guide us toward unity and peaceful coexistence,” she stated.
The Chairman concluded her message by wishing all Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid celebration.
