72% of Christians killed globally murdered in Nigeria – Rep James insist on genocide

    Published on

Member of the US Congress, representing Southeast Michigan, Rep John James has claimed that 72% of Christians killed globally were murdered within Nigeria.

The lawmaker made the claim in post on X while reacting to a report purporting that Nigeria has been named the epicenter of global killing of Christians.

He described the alleged massacre of Christians in Nigeria as targeted systematic persecution.

He wrote, “I’ve been raising the alarm on the persecution of Christians in Nigeria for years.

“The facts are undeniable: 72% of Christians killed globally were murdered in Nigeria.

“This is targeted, systematic persecution. The United States and the world must not look away”.

DAILY POST reports that the claim of Christian genocide by some lawmakers in the United States have been vigorously denied by the Nigerian government.

The government believes that the security crisis affects all religions in the country and has no specific target on any group.
