SHERIFF Oborevwori, Delta State governor, has said that Ovie Omo-Agege, former deputy president of the Senate of Nigeria cannot be trusted.
Oborevwori made this statement during an exclusive interview with Arise News on the Morning Show on June 2, where he mentioned that he saw Omo-Agege’s exit from the All Progressive Congress coming.
The governor said that Omo-Agege should have been able to embrace the fact that he lost a free and fair primary election.
Governor Oborevwori further stated that he does not feel threatened by Omo-Agege’s defection to the Nigeria Democratic Congress.
“He’s not a threat, I’ve won him before”.
He said that no local government area has been left behind in development in the health sector, road infrastructure, education and human capital development.
The governor said that the state is doing well so that should pull support from the people for him.
