Victor Osimhen, forward for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, has pledged to lead Galatasaray to victory in the UEFA Europa League. Following a thrilling 1-1 draw against AZ Alkmaar on November 28, Osimhen scored a stunning goal, marking his third in two matches of the competition.

“I said I would score, and I did. Now, I make another promise: I will bring the UEFA Cup to Turkey,” Osimhen, currently on loan from Napoli, declared after the match.

Despite the draw, the 25-year-old was satisfied with his team’s effort. “It feels good to score, but we left with just one point. However, we must keep pushing forward,” he said. Osimhen also acknowledged the team’s mental fatigue due to a busy schedule but praised their resilience, highlighting their unbeaten record in Europe.
