Toyin Lawani cries out over side effects of epidural – My spine is degenerating

    Published on

Toyin Lawani, a fashion and cosmetics entrepreneur, has stated that she has back discomfort and that her spine is deteriorating.

Lawani made this revelation in a social media video on Tuesday.

She talked candidly in the video about her experience with epidural anesthesia, a spinal injection given to expectant mothers to lessen labor discomfort.

The mother of three said she hasn’t felt like herself since getting the shot.

She charged that physicians were failing to adequately warn women about the long-term consequences of epidurals.

Lawani claims that the anesthetic injection was given to her when her last two children were born.

“When you hear ‘epidural,’ run,” she said. The long-term consequences on your body are not disclosed by doctors, but they do discuss the adverse effects. About three of my pals are experiencing the same problems as I am.

“For example, how did I get spine problems at the age of 42? My spine is deteriorating. In my spine, I have implants. I become immobilized. I am unable to stand for very long. Because the procedure impacted so many parts of my body, I occasionally can’t even breathe normally.

You only want the suffering to stop, so they won’t inform you. I’ve undergone two epidurals. My first birth was a natural one. Epidurals were used for the latter two. I had an epidural for the last one since I was forced to have surgery and had no other option.

“You see, the suffering never ends. My back is killing me and my spine is degenerating.”
