President Bola Tinubu assured Nigerians that the country would make significant progress and prosper, urging collective effort from all citizens. Speaking in Abuja at the inauguration of the Provision of Engineering Infrastructure to Wuye District and an overhead bridge connecting Wuse District to Wuye, Tinubu emphasized the importance of hard work and dedication in achieving national prosperity.

“Whatever anybody might say, it should be that Nigeria will definitely make progress and prosperity, the hope and achievement is in our hands. We will build a nation where no one is excluded,” Tinubu declared.

Highlighting the benefits of the new infrastructure projects, Tinubu stated that they would enhance access to the Wuye area and improve traffic flow within the district. He celebrated the fulfillment of promises made years ago, noting the significance of continuous government efforts in achieving these goals.

“We celebrate not just the infrastructure, but also the empowerment of the Wuse and Wuye as a community,” Tinubu said. He stressed the importance of focusing on opportunities rather than obstacles, and seizing those opportunities to achieve greatness.

The President outlined the government’s investment in essential services such as water supply, electricity, and road networks, emphasizing that these are fundamental for economic growth, social progress, and improving the quality of life for Abuja residents.

“With the completion of this project, we will witness a fast improvement in traffic flow within the district and the adjoining districts,” he added.

President Tinubu also praised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his impactful infrastructural projects, expressing his appreciation for Wike’s efforts in making these developments a reality.

“I extend, once again, my heartfelt appreciation to the FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, for making this a realizable dream for all of us and the country as a whole. The completion of this facility brings the security of life close to our people,” Tinubu said. He reiterated the government’s commitment to focusing on the people, ensuring their happiness, and bringing about prosperity and immense value to the population.
