    Spiritual wisdom from above panacea to success-Living Faith Pastor

    A senior pastor in the Living Faith Church, Pastor David Popoola has chargede members of the Pen profession to seek and aquire spiritual wisdom in their dealings if they should succeed in life.

    Pastor Popoola in a message titled “Unveiling the reality of wisdom from above,”at an interdenominational Service to mark the beginning of 2022 NUJ Press Week of the Kogi state Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) on Sunday said that wisdom sought and acquired from God is the only thing that can sustained one in carrying out daily activities

    The service which was held at the Living Faith Church, Lokongoma Lokoja had members of the Kogi State Council of NUJ in attendance.

    Popoola said “Wisdom from above is the type that makes us rise above tribulations and storms of life” He added that Earthly wisdom is received as a product of human beings adding that the wisdom of God is accessible and available to everyone.

    The clergyman identifies meekness, focus, seeking guidance and covenant practices as a way of getting access to wisdom from above.

    The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalist NUJ, Kogi State Council, Comrade Adeiza Momohjimoh appealed to Kogi State Government and other employers of journalists to improve on the welfare of working journalists in the state.

    Represented by the Council’s Treasurer, Adebayo Aka, appealed to the government to let the weigh – in allowance that was being muted to see the light of the day. He said the welfare of journalists in the state is nothing to write home about compared with those working with the Federal Government or in other states.

    In His address, The Secretary of the planning committee and Publisher of Nigerian Post Newspaper, Comr. Mike Abu said “We are in the church to thank God for the last year and trusting him to guide and protect us as we enter a period of electioneering when members of the union would be in the forefront covering elections. I charged the members to as a they hope on God, ensure a fair and balanced reporting that would be professional towards ensuring a credible 2023 general election”

    Abu added that journalism in Kogi state is more of giving than receiving.
