Singer Timaya laments  destruction of farmlands in Bayelsa by herdsmen

    Published on

Timaya, an Afrobeats artist, has expressed concern about the alleged devastation of farmlands and vegetation by herders in his native Bayelsa state.

He urged the government to take immediate action, stating that it is heartbreaking to see farmlands being destroyed.

In addition to criticizing unrestricted grazing, the “Dem Mama” crooner urged the roving herders to ranch their cattle.

He posted, “Please, the government should do something,” on his X account on Tuesday. In Bayelsa, they are destroying crops. Bring your cow inside and feed them, Aboki. This is really depressing.
