In a recent statement, political strategist Reno Omokri clarified the educational background of Bola Tinubu amidst ongoing discussions about his candidacy. While Omokri has been working for Waziri Atiku Abubakar’s campaign and expresses his hope that Atiku will prevail over Tinubu in the Presidential Election Petition Court, he wanted to set the record straight regarding Tinubu’s education.

Contrary to claims suggesting otherwise, Omokri confirmed that Tinubu did attend Chicago State University. In fact, Omokri personally visited the campus, where he interacted with officials and even conducted a video broadcast. During his visit, he discovered that Tinubu not only attended the university but also graduated with honors. To further support this assertion, Omokri obtained a letter from the university’s registry, which attests to Tinubu’s educational background.

Omokri emphasized the importance of fairness, honesty, and transparency in opposing Tinubu’s candidacy. While acknowledging Tinubu’s controversial past and alleged cartel links, Omokri urges critics to refrain from attacking him based on false information. He warns that spreading falsehoods may backfire and potentially strengthen Tinubu’s position. Instead, Omokri encourages a truthful and principled approach to political opposition.
