Nigerian rapper and singer, Chibuzo Nelson Azubuike, popularly known as Phyno, has taken the internet by surprise by revealing that he is a father. The musician shared a photo of himself with his son on his Instagram page and explained that he had taken some time off to embrace fatherhood and work on new music.

Phyno expressed that his hiatus allowed him to fully experience the joys of being a father and work on creating new music and an album. He stated, “I took some time off to be a Father and also work on new music/album and it’s been a wholesome experience. Now it’s time to get back to what I do best.”

The revelation shocked many of his fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry, leading to a flood of comments congratulating him on this new chapter of his life. Notable figures like Uche Jombo, Obi Cubana, Pauloo Okoye, Anita Okoye, and Dorcas Fapson were among those who offered their well-wishes.

This news marks a personal milestone for Phyno, and fans are now eagerly anticipating his return to creating music.

Earlier this year, Phyno also had to address rumors that he was suffering from sickle cell anemia, clarifying that he is not a sickle cell patient.
