In the recently finished US presidential election, American television presenter Oprah Winfrey has denied rumors that she received $1 million to endorse Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party’s nominee.

The Washington Examiner had reported that Harris’s company, Harpo Productions, had been paid to hold a celebrity town hall in September.

The talk show icon responded by stating unequivocally that she refused to endorse the Democratic candidate.

Untrue. TMZ cited Oprah as adding, “I was never paid anything.”

Donald Trump, the nominee of the Republican Party, was declared the winner of the election, but Oprah would not discuss the outcome.
