    The Nigerian Armed Forces (AFN) rallied the nation to unite against their common enemies, fostering a spirit of peace and harmony as Nigerians celebrate Christmas and welcome the New Year.

    Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, Acting Director of Defence Information, expressed sincere gratitude to the AFN and the people of Nigeria for their unwavering commitment in defending the nation’s integrity. He emphasized the importance of aligning with the teachings of Christ, promoting peace, love, and unity during this festive season.

    Recognizing the sacrifices made by the uniformed heroes in safeguarding the country, General Gusau called upon all Nigerians to face challenges with unity and courage. He reassured the armed forces that their bravery would not go unnoticed and affirmed the continuous support from the nation.

    Highlighting the significance of the moment, General Gusau urged Nigerians to unite against their common enemies, emphasizing the need to support the motivated AFN in their mission to protect the nation’s integrity. By standing together, he believed that Nigerians could overcome any hurdles they may encounter.

    As the year draws to a close, the AFN urged citizens to embrace the New Year with renewed hope, staying vigilant and resolute in their commitment to protect Nigeria. General Gusau emphasized that with the collective effort of all Nigerians, the nation’s security could be ensured.

    The Nigerian Armed Forces extended warm wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to all citizens. They invoked God’s blessings on the Federal Republic of Nigeria as the nation looks forward to a brighter and more secure future.
