Congratulations are pouring in for Tersugh Aondona, who recently married three women on the same day in Benue State. The wedding, which took place at Lante Kukwagh Comprehensive Secondary School, Jato-Aka, Kwande Local Government Area, saw Aondona tying the knot with Blessing, Nancy, and Sulumshima.
The celebratory event, reported to have begun at 6 pm and lasted until dawn, garnered widespread attention on social media. The wedding invite, circulated online, attracted congratulatory messages from netizens.
Harry Nyam, who initially announced the wedding, expressed excitement on Facebook, stating, “31st January is finally here. All roads lead to Jato Aka today for our man, Tersugh Aondona AKA Aterry-baba. I just got in here, and the town looks set to host the biggest weddings ever held in the state. Congrats to you and your wives bro. Very happy women. God when?🥺”
Akough Orduen shared pictures from the event, saying, “Congratulations Mr. Tersugh Aondona of Jato-Aka as you take home three beautiful brides. So someone can marry three women at the same time without a fight at the traditional marriage ceremony.”
Waalawa Mbaikyor commented, “My brother, Tersugh Aondona, displays the arena with his three wives at the occasion of his marriage celebration with Blessing, Nancy, and Sulumshima. Let there be peace in the house, amen.”
Ahen Teryange Ephraim expressed surprise at the historic event, questioning how Aondona convinced the three women to marry him simultaneously and how the families accepted this unique ceremony.
Amidst the congratulatory messages, Emmanuel Gav praised Aondona’s courage, while Prisca Ullam extended best wishes and reminded him to stay faithful to his three wives.
This event follows a similar occurrence in 2021 when Ekpe Akpove, a farmer from Delta State, married two women on the same day with the support of his family and friends.
