The statement last Friday by Mr Festus Keyamo,, a Spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023 general elections and Minister of State for Labour and Productivityto the effect that it’s Candidate, Bola Tinubu will build on the foundation land by President Muhammadu Buhari is a tactical blunder and tantamount to Nemesis at work, Abdullahi Oshioke, an undergraduate in Benin has said. Keyamo while responding to questions on Channels Television on Friday said, “it is the same temple that Buhari is using that Tinubu will use. We are proud of the achievements of APC”. This statement sharply contrasts the reality of insecurity, unemployment and several other indices of retardation on ground and Nigerians have been reacting with many seeing the remarks as irresponsible.Oshioke said, “For over five months now we have been at home because of ASUU strike. There is no hope that we will return to Campus soon. It’s very frustrating. It’s so shameless, unscrupulous of APC to want to come back in 2023. I’m happy the APC has shot itself in the leg with the statement Keyamo made that Tinubu will continue from where Buhari will stop. It’s nemesis at work”.Realities of unemployment, kidnapping, diseases, misappropriation of public funds, disillusionment and the like are loud and ubiquitous and Nigerians are in dire need of a Leader that will alleviate their sufferings and engineer patriotic fervour.
