The visit aligns with NELFUND’s broader strategic outreach aimed at promoting access to education, enhancing financial inclusion, and reinforcing the Federal Government’s commitment to ensuring that no eligible Nigerian student is denied higher education due to financial constraints.

The MD/CE was accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising Mrs. Funmi Alagbada, General Counsel/Board Secretary; Mr. Tolutayo Olajolo, Assistant Director, Facility & Fleet; Mr. Fola Ogunniya, Senior Manager, Strategic Communications; Mr. Nasir Ayitogo, Technical Assistant to the MD/CE; Mr. Yomi Gbadamosi, Personal Assistant to the MD/CE; Mrs. Ife Akoniyon, Legal Officer; and Ms. Tinuke Bello, Personal Assistant to the General Counsel.

During an interactive session with the institution’s leadership and students, the MD/CE expressed appreciation to the Rector, Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, and the management of the institute for their warm reception and support. He assured the institution that NELFUND is adequately capitalized to deliver on its mandate, reiterating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive that financial limitations should not hinder any qualified Nigerian student from pursuing tertiary education.

In his remarks, Dr. Oluseye commended the President for initiating and implementing what he described as a transformative education financing intervention. He acknowledged the significant number of student applications already submitted and awaiting disbursement, and urged eligible students to take full advantage of the loan scheme.

The visit further underscores NELFUND’s unwavering commitment to educational equity, inclusive growth, and national development through sustained stakeholder engagement across the country.
