    Mother Seeks N5m for Son’s Life-Saving Heart Surgery

    Mrs. Olorunda Precious is urgently seeking financial help to fund a critical heart surgery for her three-year-old son, Jeremiah Simeon, diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), a severe congenital heart defect.

    Jeremiah has experienced frequent squatting and a bluish discoloration of his body, prompting medical investigations at Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, which confirmed the TOF diagnosis. TOF involves four heart defects that impair blood flow, causing low oxygen levels and affecting the child’s overall health.

    Due to the urgent need for surgery to improve blood flow to Jeremiah’s lungs, the estimated cost for the procedure is N5 million. Mrs. Olorunda, a small-time trader, has exhausted her resources on medical care and seeks assistance from the Gifting Volunteer Network to cover the surgery costs.

    In Nigeria, accessing life-saving medical care can be particularly challenging for lower-income families, making external help crucial for cases like Jeremiah’s.
