Adegboyega Oyetola, the newly appointed minister of marine and blue economy, has acknowledged the
demanding task set before him by President Bola Tinubu. Speaking in Abuja during a reception organized by the Osun state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other stakeholders, Oyetola emphasized the significant responsibilities that come with being a minister in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Highlighting the novelty of his ministry, Oyetola recognized the need to build from the ground up and expressed his faith in divine assistance for success in his new role. He expressed gratitude for the support displayed at the event and assured his commitment to fulfilling the presidential mandate entrusted to him.

Oyetola thanked President Tinubu for the honor of the ministerial appointment and called for cooperation and support from all stakeholders to effectively fulfill his responsibilities in the new ministry.

Senator Iyiola Omisore, the former national secretary of the APC, praised Oyetola’s appointment as a perfect fit for the position and expressed confidence in his ability to deliver on his new responsibilities. Similarly, Chief Bisi Akande, the former interim national chairman of the APC, deemed Oyetola’s appointment well-deserved and a source of pride for the people of Osun.
