Italian reports indicate that Milan is prepared to acquire the services of Samuel Chukwueze and will initiate negotiations with Villarreal in the coming days.

As part of their efforts to strengthen Stefano Pioli’s forward line this summer, the Rossoneri aim to recruit a new right winger who can enhance their attacking prowess.

Milan has identified Chukwueze as their primary target for this role, believing that he possesses all the necessary qualities to make a significant impact, including speed, strength, creativity, and finishing ability.

According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Milan has already reached a verbal agreement with Chukwueze, establishing mutual understanding regarding his salary and the length of the proposed contract.

Now, the Rossoneri will approach Villarreal to commence negotiations. The Spanish club has set a price tag of €30 million for the 24-year-old, who has one year remaining on his current contract.

Milan intends to initiate talks with an initial offer of €20 million, with the possibility of increasing the sum through additional incentives. However, reports from Spain suggest that Villarreal will only consider Chukwueze’s departure from Estadi de la Ceràmica if they receive a minimum of €25 million plus bonuses.

Chukwueze enjoyed a remarkable season under the guidance of Villarreal coach Quique Setién, netting an impressive 13 goals and providing 11 assists in the previous campaign.
