The Nigerian box office records for November 10–12, 2023, reveal that Merry Men 3, a comedy crime thriller produced by Ay Makun, has reached a total gross of ₦100 million after four weeks in theaters. Despite this significant achievement, the film has dropped to the third spot on the charts, according to the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN).

The drop in position appears to persist, as new records for November 10-16, 2023, show that Merry Men 3 maintains its position at third place with a seven-day gross of ₦8.8 million. Since its theatrical debut on October 14, 2023, the film’s current total gross stands at ₦109,256,960, making it the second-highest-grossing Nollywood film of 2023.

Following Merry Men 3 is Adire, Film One’s original feature that delves into the life of a young female fashion entrepreneur with a dark past as a sex worker. Adire secures the fourth spot on the charts with a seven-day gross of ₦8.9 million and a total gross of ₦20.6 million since its debut on November 3, 2023.

In fifth place is Small Talk by Biodun Stephen, with a seven-day gross of ₦3.3 million and a total gross of ₦18.4 million.

At the top of the chart is the American superhero film titled The Marvels, boasting a seven-day gross of ₦49.6 million and a total gross of ₦52.1 million. In second place is Freelance, with a seven-day gross of ₦9.1 million and a total gross of ₦48.3 million.

Anticipation for new records grows with the latest additions over the weekend.
