    Kwara Governor Commends Improved Security in Oro Ago, Visits Military Camp

    Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State visited the military troops engaged in the Still Waters III exercise in Oro Ago, Ifelodun local government. He commended the 22 Brigade for its efforts in enhancing security in the region. The Governor also met with the Oloro of Oro Ago, Oba Johnson Olanrewaju Dada, during his visit. AbdulRazaq expressed satisfaction with the progress of the Orisa bridge, near completion, which will replace the colonial passage on the Omu Aran-Oro Ago road, addressing concerns dating back to the 1940s.

    Additionally, the Governor lauded the synergy among security agencies, emphasizing the positive impact of military presence in various areas, consolidating security efforts and deterring criminal activities. Brigadier General AbdulRahman Babalola, the Brigade Commander of 22 Armoured Brigade Sobi, thanked the Governor for his support for the Still Waters III operation, noting the significant improvement in the security situation. The Oloro highlighted the positive impact of the exercise on peace and business transactions in the area.
