    ‎Kano govt appoints 19 permanent secretaries, redeploys 14

    ‎The Kano State Government has approved the appointment of 19 new permanent secretaries and redeployed 14 serving ones across ministries, departments and agencies in the state civil service.

    ‎According to a statement issued on Tuesday by the Head of the Civil Service, Bilkisu Shehu-Maimota, the appointment is a call to greater responsibility and selfless service.

    ‎It directed all affected permanent secretaries to work closely with their respective MDAs to advance the government’s development agenda and improve service delivery.

    ‎It also urged the appointees to discharge their duties with diligence, professionalism, integrity and accountability.

    ‎Ms Shehu-Maimota expressed confidence in their ability to justify the trust reposed in them and uphold the core values of the Kano civil service through excellence, transparency and innovation.

    ‎The statement added that the appointments and redeployments take immediate effect, while all handing-over and taking-over processes are to be completed on or before August 12.
