The Kaduna State College of Education (KSCOE), Gidan Waya, Kafanchan, has expressed appreciation to the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) following the disbursement of ₦7,753,000 in institutional fee loans to 142 students of the institution.

In an acknowledgement and commendation letter dated April 14, 2026, the college confirmed receipt of the funds, which were paid on April 8, 2026, for beneficiaries under the fourth batch of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The institution described the intervention as a significant contribution to educational access and student welfare, noting that the loan scheme has provided financial relief to students and their families.

Speaking on behalf of the management, staff, and students of the college, the Provost, Dr. A. A. Aku, commended the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of NELFUND and the agency’s staff for their dedication and commitment to the successful implementation of the programme.

The college also praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for initiating and supporting the student loan scheme, describing it as a humanitarian and innovative effort aimed at expanding access to higher education across Nigeria.

KSCOE expressed optimism about the sustainability of the initiative and urged continued support for programmes that promote educational development and opportunities for students nationwide.

The letter was signed on behalf of the Provost by Engr. Nyalla Simon Gajere, NELFUND Desk Officer of the institution.
