President Bola Tinubu has expressed his satisfaction with the Supreme Court’s judgment that affirmed his victory in the presidential election, emphasizing that it represents justice for all Nigerians.

The Supreme Court upheld Tinubu’s victory, dismissing the petitions filed by his main challengers, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP). In a video message, Tinubu stated that this ruling will allow the country to focus on building a new, inclusive economy.

Tinubu acknowledged the nation’s suffering and the need to address the economic challenges, emphasizing that the Supreme Court’s judgment has put an end to distractions, innuendos, and trials in the media and public space. He commended the court for its commitment to the rule of law, humanity, and ensuring justice for all Nigerians, irrespective of their background or affiliations.
