How my dad was killed by men in military uniform – Caterefe

    Published on

Nigerian streamer and skitmaker, Caterefe has recounted how his father, a policeman, was gruesomely murdered by armed robbers in military camouflage during a robbery incident many years ago in Ogun State.

The skitmaker recalled that his father had closed from duty but decided to follow the police van to the nearest bus-stop to their home.

However, on their way, they ran into an ongoing robbery operation on the highway and unknown to them that the men in military camouflage were robbers, they alighted from their vehicle to know what was causing gridlock, but robbers opened fire on them upon spotting their police uniform.

Caterefe said his father’s murder is more traumatising because he saw his lifeless body on television and the clip is still available on YouTube.

Speaking in a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Caterefe said, “My dad had closed from duty and was heading home but he decided to enter the police van to the nearest bus-stop to our house, we were saying at Ogun State then.

“However, they ran into a gridlock and some men in military camouflage were robbing. My dad and his colleagues alighted from the van to check what was going but immediately the robbers spotted them in police uniform, they opened fire on them. My dad is on YouTube, I saw my dad’s lifeless body on the ground with police uniform.”

He added, “I am not stranger to pain. I have gone through a lot of pains. So, there is no pain that will make me stop my grind.”
