Halle Bailey has secured a temporary domestic violence restraining order against her ex-boyfriend and rapper DDG, according to court documents obtained by E! News. The Little Mermaid star, who shares a 17-month-old son, Halo, with DDG, alleged in a May 13 court filing that a January altercation left her with bruises and a chipped tooth after DDG allegedly slammed her face into a car steering wheel. She also described verbal abuse in front of their son and claimed he “lacks an understanding of how his actions impact Halo.”

Bailey cited multiple incidents, including DDG allegedly entering her home uninvited, locking her out, taking her phone, and throwing it out of his car. She also referenced receiving hate and threats online, which she linked to DDG’s public comments about her on his platforms.

“I have done everything possible to avoid going to court,” Bailey wrote. “I cannot allow this abuse any longer. I cannot keep living like this.”
