    Governor Uzodimma Appoints Brother as Deputy Chief of Staff

    Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has sanctioned the appointment of his brother, Ferdinand Uzodimma, as the Deputy Chief of Staff responsible for General Services.

    In addition to this appointment, Governor Uzodimma has also reconfirmed the positions of Cosmos Iwu as the Secretary to the State Government, Nnamdi Anyaehie as the Chief of Staff, and Sydney Agbor as the Deputy Chief of Staff handling Operations. These three officials previously served in the same capacities during Governor Uzodimma’s initial four-year tenure.

    Furthermore, Patrick Ekeji has been appointed as the Deputy Chief of Staff overseeing Administration, while Sam Nwaobasi has been named as the Special Adviser on Programme and Policy Implementation and Monitoring.

    A statement released on Thursday by the governor’s spokesperson, Oguwike Nwachuku, disclosed that these appointments have taken effect immediately.

    Governor Uzodimma emphasized the importance of the appointees’ professional competence in advancing the objectives of the Shared Prosperity 3R Government of Imo State. He extended congratulations to the newly appointed officials and urged them to contribute effectively to the state’s development agenda.
