    Published on

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, has explained why her husband, President Bola Tinubu, has been eager to place women in important leadership roles inside the nation.

The First Lady claims that in addition to being included in leadership positions, women in leadership have demonstrated that they support one another, collaborate, and carry out their duties with diligence in order to advance the country.

She made this statement at the State House Presidential Villa during a courtesy visit by a group from the Directorate of State Security, or DSS, headed by Mrs. Afolashade Adekayaoja, the Deputy Director-General.

She emphasized that her dedication to empowering women in the nation has not diminished and praised the DSS for achieving gender parity among its employees.

She asserts that President Bola Tinubu is steadfast in her resolve to guarantee women’s participation in positions of leadership.

Because it highlights how important it is to acknowledge and appreciate the relentless contributions of industrious women in all industries, his administration has made it a priority to empower women and ensure their active involvement in decision-making at all levels.

“Women in leadership roles represent other women throughout the nation.”

“Women in leadership have a tendency to support each other, collaborate, and diligently discharge their responsibilities to ensure progress for the nation,” she said.

Mrs. Adekayaoja, for her part, praised the President and the Wife for their resolute involvement in furthering the cause of women in the country.

She praised their steadfast dedication and continuous work to put women in important leadership roles where they can significantly impact national governance.

Mrs. Adekayaoja, the Deputy Director General of the DSS, also conveyed her gratitude for the First Lady’s unwavering support of the DSS and her campaign for female equality.

She restated the DSS’s dedication to safeguarding Nigerians’ lives and maintaining a safe atmosphere for the country’s ongoing development and peaceful government.
