A fire incident has occurred at the residence of Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, in Lagos. The fire reportedly consumed the entire house, leaving it in ruins.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, as reported by Vanguard. According to the labor union, the fire originated from the roof and was preceded by some unusual noises that the Ajaero family initially mistook for sounds made by domestic animals.
Despite the prompt arrival of community members and the fire department, they were unable to salvage the situation. However, no members of the family were available for comment on the incident.
It was reported that Joe Ajaero was in Geneva at the time the fire broke out in his Lagos residence. When asked for a statement, he expressed gratitude to God that no lives were lost in the unfortunate incident.
