Romanus Ejikeme, the father of Mmesoma Ejikeme, who was involved in falsifying her result in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), has issued a sincere apology to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the Nigerian public. He revealed that his daughter initially deceived him with false information.

Previously, Mr. Ejikeme had accused JAMB of unfairly affecting his daughter’s chances. However, he now acknowledges that he was unaware of where Mmesoma had registered for the examination, although he provided her with the funds for registration.

According to reports from Dailynewscraft, a committee established by the governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the controversial result saga has found evidence implicating Mmesoma in manipulating her examination scores.

JAMB has issued a warning to candidates, urging them to steer clear of fraudulent applications that promise to improve their scores, as the ultimate outcome will only bring disappointment and despair.
