    Ex. Kogi Deputy Governor’s Mum, Late madam Florence Awoniyi to be Buried on Friday the 26th May, 2023.

    The burial arrangements for late Madam Florence Ebun Awoniyi have been released.

    Late Madam Florence Awoniyi was the wife of Late Chief Sunday Awoniyi, one-time Chairman, Arewa Consultative Forum, Foundation Member of PDP, and the Aro of Mopa who died on 28th November, 2007.

    Born in Mopa, Mopamuro LGA on the 31st August 1940, Late Madam Awoniyi died on 8th May 2023 at the Evercare Hospital, Lekki, Lagos, after a brief illness.

    According to a statement announcing the burial arrangements, H.E Arc. Yomi Awoniyi, former Kogi State Deputy Governor, said the commendation service will be held on Thursday, 18th May, 2023, by 4:30 pm at the First Baptist Church, 24a Broad Street, Lagos.

    The Statement further added that a Wake Keep hold on Thursday 25th May, 2023 between 4:30-6:30pm at the residence of late Chief Awoniyi, Orimolade Road, Ileteju, Mopa, Mopamuro LGA in Kogi State.

    The Funeral Service is slated to hold on Friday 26th May, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:30am at First Baptist Church, Ileteju, Mopa, Mopamuro LGA, Kogi State, while interment follows immediately after funeral service.

    A reception ceremony, according to the statement, follows immediately after interment at the premises of Boja Industries, Limited, Arifun Industrial Estate, Mopa.
