Ex-Diplomat Oseloka Obaze, Reps Member Afam Ogene Revalidate ADC Membership in Ogbaru

Former diplomat and political leader, Chief Oseloka H. Obaze, on Sunday revalidated his membership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) at his country home in Ochuche, Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The exercise is part of the party’s ongoing nationwide membership registration and revalidation drive.

Obaze completed the process both physically and through the party’s online platform, a move party officials said reflects the ADC’s commitment to a transparent and technology-driven membership system.

The exercise was witnessed by party stakeholders at the grassroots, including the ADC Local Government Chairman, Ward Chairman and members of the Ogbaru LGA Registration, Revalidation and Mobilisation Committee.

Speaking after the exercise, Obaze commended the party leadership for initiating the membership revalidation, describing it as a vital step towards strengthening the party’s structure ahead of future political contests.

He urged party members and supporters across Anambra State and the country to take advantage of the exercise to reaffirm their commitment to the party.

“A strong and verified membership base remains the backbone of any successful political movement,” he said.

Similarly, the member representing Ogbaru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Afam Ogene, reportedly revalidated his membership at his country home in Obagwe.

Party sources said similar exercises were also carried out across the Anambra North Senatorial Zone following the state flag-off of the exercise.

Political observers say the participation of leaders like Obaze and Ogene is expected to boost grassroots mobilisation and accelerate the ongoing membership registration and revalidation drive in the state.
